    hoorde ik dit weekend vertellen dat Imperivm is overgenomen door United Brands?!
    WTH???

    Is dit echt zo? wie kan bevestigen of ontkennen?
    (niet dat ik een nieuw board wil momenteel… maar ik was zo blij dat er een Belgisch snobo merk was 😉 )

    Imperivm History
    IMPERIVM was born in Les Arcs, France, in 2004. It was created by snowboarders and for snowboarders. So you shouldn’t be surprised to discover that the founder of the brand is former pro rider, Demir Julia.

    The biggest dream and goal was to make a rider-driven European brand. To make this dream come true, the brand needed a strong name. The Latin name “Imperivm” was chosen. Literally Imperivm means “to rule”. It refers to the feeling a rider gets, when standing on the top of a mountain.

    Step by step, Imperium has built its reputation with high quality products and strong designs. The strong image has been inspired by history, street artists, tattoo artists, values and of course passion for snowboarding.

    [b]In 2009, Imperivm fell under the wings of a Belgian retail company, United Brands.[/b] Demir Julia stayed with the brand. Successfully, both companies combined their strengths. Today they are ready for another episode. The company pays a lot of attention to environmental factors. (Please go to values for more information).

    IMPERIVM has always had the support of different pro-riders. The best European riders joined the team. Big names like, David Livet, Jonathan “Douds” Charlet, Alex “Doumy” Doumergue, have been with the brand from the very start.

    Imperivm is a rising European brand with a strong personality. The brand is already present in Belgium, France, Spain, Andorra , Italy, and England. The brand name gets stronger & stronger every day and is looking forward to a bright future.
